Private Home Wedding
Qaniat and Sohaib had their private and intimate wedding at the brides home celebrating cultural and religious traditions. It was a beautiful exchange with close friends and family.
Due to the Covid restrictions at the time, their original photographer was unable to travel for the Nikah, the Islamic marriage ceremony, so when I received the inquiry I immediately responded and was excited to document this moment.
It always amazes me how your home can be transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. Each room is now converted into a space where your wedding will take place.
I remember seeing Qaniat walking out of her bedroom, down the hallway to meet her now husband, so reminiscent of a typical wedding as the bride walks down the aisle to meet her husband. All of the same emotions and excitement filled the space.
I was honored to be there and grateful to have witness this union.
