The Pond House Wedding
This wedding was personal. You see Victoria is the youngest of three sisters. Three sisters I happen to see grow up. I mean I could be like their eldest sister if you want to see it that way, at least that's what I tell myself. But getting to be a part of one of the most important moments in their lives has been my greatest honor as a photographer. I wasn't just a guest at their wedding I was a part of it. But enough about me....
Victoria has a very unique style and she exudes it. She wanted that in her wedding mixing modern and vintage vibes throughout her beautiful wedding day. Colin, her amazing husband, a great match not only to her life but definitely to the esthetic of the wedding. I loved that he carried a pocket watch, a family heirloom and even their details were unique to their style.
Their first look was held at the beautiful Hartford City Hall. We didn't have to go inside to admire the historic architecture and old world charm the building had to offer and I have to say it went so well with the couple. We had enough time to explore the downtown area and captured some incredible images of the couple along with their bridal party.
Their wedding venue was no exception. I met with Victoria and Colin and their bridal party the night before the wedding to go over some logistics and I can see why Victoria chose The Pond House. It has a style that lend itself to making it your own with it's gardens, twinkle lights and amazing high ceilings. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception despite it being cut short due to the restrictions set at the time due to the pandemic. One thing I can assure is that this loves to dance and they enjoyed every bit of it.
The night ended with a fun and unique wedding exit that all of us were excited to experience. Victoria wanted something different than the usual sparkler exit and found these LED balloons on Amazon that really made for a memorable exit.
