Intimate wedding at Il Palio, Shelton, CT
As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing the love and joy of couples on their special day. But when I was asked to photograph a young couple's intimate wedding at a cozy venue in the frigid month of February, I knew it was going to be a unique and memorable experience.
Abigail and Dontre were a fashionable couple with a love that radiated from them. Despite the cold weather, they brought high fashion vibes to their intimate wedding, making it their own with personal touches and a focus on their closest family and friends.
The ceremony took place in a small but so beautiful Il Palio restaurant, decorated with the most incredible tall hydrangea centerpieces, a stunning wedding arch for their wedding ceremony and twinkling lights and candles decorated by the amazing, Divine Design . Abigail and Dontre exchanged vows and rings, surrounded by their loved ones. As the newlyweds walked down the aisle, their love and joy shone bright, despite the cold weather outside.
After the ceremony, we braved the cold to take some beautiful outdoor portraits. The snow-covered landscape provided a stunning backdrop for the couple's fashion-forward attire. It was clear that Abigail and Dontre's love was anything but small.
The reception was just as intimate and cozy as the ceremony, with a small group of close family and friends gathered around to celebrate their love. The ambiance of il Palio truly magnified the love in the room and made for some truly beautiful moments.
One of the great things about this intimate wedding was that Abigail and Dontre made it their own, with no bridal party but the best of friends and family coming together to help bring their vision to life. As the night came to a close and the couple continued to dance and party with their loved ones, I knew that I had captured something truly special.
