How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book anywhere from 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for popular wedding dates in spring and fall. If you already have your venue and date secured, it's a good idea to reach out sooner rather than later.
What areas do you serve?
I photograph weddings throughout Connecticut and New York, and I'm always open to hearing amore about celebrations beyond that as well.
Do you travel outside of Connecticut?
Yes! I do travel for weddings, engagement sessions, and intimate celebrations outside of Connecticut.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
Yes, absolutely. If you're planning a destination wedding or celebration outside the area, I'd love to hear more about what you have in mind.
How do we officially book with you?
One we decide that w are a great fit, booking is made official through a signed contract and retainer. From there, your date is secured and we can start planning all the fun details.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available to help make the process feel more manageable leading up to your wedding day.

How do we know which package is right for us?
The best package depends on the kind of celebration you're planning. Elopements and courthouse weddings are perfect for intimate, simple coverage. Micro weddings are great for smaller celebrations that need more time and storytelling. Full wedding collections are best for traditional wedding days with getting ready, ceremony, portraits and reception coverage.
What's the difference between an elopement, micro wedding, and full wedding collection?
Elopements and courthouse weddings are designed for intimate celebrations with minimal coverage needs. Micro weddings offer more time and room for moments like guest interactions, portraits, and key parts of the day. Full wedding collections are built for couples planning a more complete wedding day experience with longer coverage and a second photographer.
How many hours of wedding photography do we need?
That depends on what you want documented. Smaller celebrations may only need 1 to 3 hours, while traditional weddings often need 7 to 10 hours depending on whether you want getting ready, first look, ceremony, family photos, cocktail hour, and reception moments all included. I'm always happy to help guide you toward the coverage that makes the most sense for your day.
Can we add more coverage time later?
Yes. Additional coverage can be added based on availability.
Do your wedding collections include a second photographer?
Yes. My full wedding collections include a second photographer so more of your day can be documented with care and multiple perspectives.
Can we customize a package?

Do you help with posing?
Yes. I'll always guide you in a way that feels natural and comfortable, so you never have to worry about knowing exactly what to do in front of the camera.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
You are definitely not alone in that. Most couples tell me this before their session or wedding day. My approach is a mix of gentle direction and natural movement, so nothing feels overly stiff or forced. The goal is for you to actually enjoy the experience, not feel like you're performing for the camera.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We adjust as needed and make the most of the day. Rain does not mean your photos can't still be beautiful. Some of the most meaningful and romantic moments happen when couples lean into the day as it comes.
How do family formal photos work?
I help guide family formals in a way that keeps things organized and efficient. Before the wedding, we'll go over the combinations that mater most so we can move through them smoothly without taking over your entire cocktail hour.
Have you photographed at our venue before?
There's a good chance I may have, but even if I haven't, I always come prepared. I pay attention to lighting, timing, the flow of the day, and the best locations for portraits so your photos feel intentional no matter where your celebration takes place.

Yes. Engagement sessions are available on their own and can also be included with select wedding collections.
What should we wear for our engagement session?
I always recommend outfits that feel comfortable, flattering, and true to you. Neutral tones, soft textures and pieces that move well tend to photograph beautifully. Once you're booked, I'm happy to help guide you with outfit choices.
Can you help us choose a location?
Yes. I love helping couples choose a location that fits their vibe, whether that's something coastal, urban, nature-filled, or simple and timeless.
What if we don't know how to pose?
That's completely okay. You do not need to show up knowing how to pose. I'll guide you throughout the session in a way that feels easy and natural.
How long does an engagement session lasts?
Most engagement sessions lasts up to 2 hours depending on location, the pace of the session, and the kind of experience you want.
Why should we do an engagement session?
Engagement sessions give us a chance to connect before the wedding day and help you get comfortable in front of the camera. They also give you beautiful images you can use for save the dates, your wedding website or just to celebrate this season of life.
